Producing new biofertilisers and biochemicals, manufacturing panels incorporating wood waste and designing new electric and automatic forestry implements are some of the objectives of the “Agenda Transform” consortium, involving 56 companies and institutions in the forestry sector.
Over the last three years, 30 collaborative projects have been developed, organised into six action areas, which will benefit from 130 million euros in funding from the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) until December 2025.
Yesterday, Coimbra took an overview of all the projects at a national meeting with 200 participants, held at the Convento de São Francisco, and attended by the Secretaries of State for the Economy, João Rui Ferreira, and for Forestry, Rui Ladeira.
