Susana began her career in scientific projects in the department of Edaphology at UTAD, where she developed her knowledge of tree-soil relationships. She collaborated in forestry associations of Community Areas, where she managed and participated in projects, with the aim of create organising regulations and forms for these areas and promoting the management of the respective forest area.
