Ph.D. in Forest Engineering and Natural Resources Management (2009) and Master in Mathematics, Applied to Biological Sciences (1998). Her professional career began acquiring skills about burnt areas and land cover mapping using Geographic Information Systems and Satellite data processing. In 2014, her research became more applied, using fire simulation tools to produce information to suppport fire management, in order to reduce the impacts of fire at landscape level. The coordination of research projects with the active involvement of stakeholders has helped to ensure the information generated has increased in terms of quality to support decision-making in the large fires prevention and suppression.<\/p>
