With the aim of raising awareness about the strategic importance of Natural Resin and reinforcing the visibility of the RN21 Integrated Project, CoLAB ForestWISE launched a national multimedia communication campaign running from October 2025 to March 2026. This initiative aimed to enhance public recognition of the project’s results and highlight RN21’s contribution to the sustainable valorisation of pine forests and rural territories.

The campaign was disseminated through a wide range of national and local media channels, including mainstream press (such as Observador and Visão), specialised outlets (Revista Agrotec, Greensavers and Sustentável), national radio stations (Renascença and TSF), and an extended network of local radio stations across the country. Additionally, the campaign had strong visibility through outdoor advertising, with billboard placements (mupis) in Lisbon and Porto.

Public engagement was further amplified by the involvement of João Manzarra, who joined the campaign by sharing a promotional video on his Instagram page, helping to broaden the message’s reach to a wider audience.

This action is part of RN21’s broader communication strategy, which seeks to elevate the recognition of Natural Resin as a strategic resource with the potential to regain a central role in the Portuguese economy — combining industrial innovation, forest valorisation, and territorial development. Bridging tradition and science, forestry and industry, Natural Resin stands out as a key asset for a more sustainable, inclusive, and community-connected bioeconomy.
