rePLANT, led by The Navigator Company in collaboration with ForestWISE, was born from the need to develop integrated and innovative solutions which ensure the sustainable management of forests, helping to prevent incidents such as fires.
This initiative had an investment of 5.6 million euros and brought together more than 20 entities, including leading companies in the sector, universities and other research and innovation entities.
The work developed by those involved led to the development of new products, processes and services, which contribute to reduce the fire risk.
“The aim is to improve the management and decision-making processes of forestry and energy companies, introducing a high degree of innovation in integrated forest and fire management,” Navigator explains in a statement.
