On 8 May, the RN21 Integrated Project Results Sharing Event took place at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro in Vila Real, bringing together the consortium’s 37 partners to analyse the project’s progress. The programme included presentations, demonstrations and discussion, providing an integrated view of the different work areas and the results developed to date.

During the sharing rounds, the partners presented the progress of the measures underway, from advances in resin techniques to industrial applications in sectors such as automobiles, textiles, footwear and food. These moments fostered the identification of synergies, stimulated the exchange of knowledge and highlighted the milestones already achieved in the 22 measures of the RN21 Project.

The afternoon was dedicated to strategic sessions that assessed the implementation of the project and began the participatory construction of the strategic vision for 2025 – 2030, making it possible to define future priorities and reinforce the commitment to a sustainable bioeconomy based on Natural Resin.

The event ended with the presentation of the financial balance and the validation of strategic measures, reinforcing the cohesion of the consortium and highlighting the importance of this collaborative format for aligning efforts, consolidating results and planning the next steps of the RN21 Project towards a more sustainable and competitive sector.
