She has a PhD in Environmental Sciences and Engineering (UA, 2020) with a thesis on post-fire management policies in Portugal. For more than 15 years she has been working at CESAM – Centre for Environmental and Maritime Studies (UA), developing research in the areas of social perception of the environment and natural risks, local development, public policies and land management instruments and natural resource management, with a particular focus on forests. During this period she took part in ten international and national scientific research projects, involving and interacting with agents and society.
