With a degree in Forest Engineering (UTAD, 2007) and a specialization in Enology and Viticulture (UTAD, 2022), she has a vast experience resulting from her participation in several research projects related to several areas such as: genetics, microbiology, in vitro culture, plant physiology, plant health, dendrometry and forest inventory, wood technologies, and resin tapping.
