Work Line 1: Forest and fire management
Degree in Forest Engineering (UTAD, 1989) and International University Master in Management and Conservation of Euro-Mediterranean Wild Fauna (WAVES/University of León, 2002), began his professional activity in the private sector. In 1993, Rogério began working in the public sector, as a senior technician and manager, in agencies such as the Directorate General of Forests (1993-1996), Forestry Institute (1996-2004), Regional Directorate of Agriculture of Trás-os-Montes, Directorate of Forestry Services (2001-2004), Directorate General of Forest Resources (2004-2008), National Forestry Authority (2008- 2012), Institute for Nature Conservation and Forests, I. P., where he held the position of Director of the Northern Department of Nature Conservation and Forests (2012-2015) and, subsequently, Chairman of the Board of Directors (2016-2019).
